Delivery Manager | Hybrid/Onsite | £300 - £435 per day | 6-Month Contract
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Delivery Manager to support a government client within the public sector. This is an initial 6-month contract with the potential for extension. Candidates must be comfortable working in a hybrid environment, with an expectation of 3 days onsite/ week, supporting digital delivery across complex programmes and multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
Lead multidisciplinary teams in the successful delivery of digital products and services.
Manage the end-to-end delivery lifecycle, ensuring outcomes are delivered to time, quality and budget expectations.
Remove impediments and unblock delivery challenges across teams and stakeholders.
Facilitate planning, sprint ceremonies, workshops and programme governance activities.
Drive continuous improvement across delivery processes, tools and team performance.
Manage stakeholder relationships and communicate delivery progress, risks and dependencies.
Support Agile ways of working and promote a culture of collaboration and accountability.
Ensure delivery aligns with user needs, business objectives and government digital standards.
Essential Experience
Previous experience delivering programmes within Government or Public Sector environments.
Experience leading Agile delivery teams across digital transformation initiatives.
Demonstrable experience managing risks, issues, dependencies and delivery roadmaps.
Experience working with multidisciplinary teams including product, engineering, design and business stakeholders.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across all organisational levels.
Experience facilitating workshops, planning sessions and governance forums.
Ability to deliver in fast-paced and changing environments.
